My view of Yoga is that the practise/sadhana is constant, it is a way of living. When we keep a continues practise on the mat, we engage in a remindance to ourselves of the importance to bring Yoga into all aspects of our lives.
From the foundation in ethics and moral, how we meet and treat the world around us and ourselves, to the actual physical practise of movement (asan), breath control (pranayam), concentration (dharan) and meditiation (dhyan) according to the Eight limbs of Patanjali. Not to forget, and probably the most important and crucial practise for humans living in the modern world, the practise of complete rest and relaxation with full awareness (yog Nidra).
My approach always begins with connecting to the breath. It doesn't matter what goal or intention we have for the moment, the breath is the key to unlock and get to know our True Essence. By cultivating breath awareness into our daily way of living, we automatically enter the present moment and can start to move from a busy mind to feeling the body and the different layers of "body".

Every human has tension and stress stored in both the physical, emotional and mental body which manifest in different ways.
With deep awareness, whether it is through breathing, relaxation or movement, will allow us to start release and let go of what doesn't serve us.
This will after time and patience cultivate a safe and secure sense of calmness. From this state, we can enter concentration and start stilling the mind. Merely becoming the witness of streams in the underlaying waves.

My current comprehension, rooted from lectures, self-study and self-practise, has giving me the ability to guide/teach in breath work/pranayam, guided mediation, deep rest and relaxation in various ways. I am also very instresed in the individual human perception and experience, and therefore a keen listener with compassionate openness and supportive approach.
